Commissioned paintings give you the opportunity own a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. They are not only more unique than a print, but they allow you to inject some of your own personality into the finished painting and get exactly what you want.

If you are thinking of commissioning an original painting, some things to consider are:
Size. What size would you like the painting? Make sure it fits well in the space you would like the painting to hang.
Deadline. When do you want the painting finished by? Original, high-quality artwork isn't quick, so make sure you order in plenty of time, especially if it for a special occasion. Please also note that the festive period is particularly busy for us, so give extra notice. We recommend at least eight weeks.

For Portraits

How many people in the painting? Please note that the more figures, the more expensive the painting will be

Do you have a good source image? For example, if the source is a photograph. is it a good quality picture? Is the person's face clear? It might sound strange, but often people do not look like themselves in a photo! Remember that the artist does not know the person they're painting so the likeness must as good as possible.
